About your dance teacher:
Sacha has a varied dance background having started classical ballet at the age of 4 in Perth, Australia. She then went on to study Contemporary dance and Jazz Ballet for 6 years under the tutelage of Beverley Nevin (Brisbane, Australia).
In 1996 (while residing in Uruguay, South America) she began Afro-Brazilian, Candombe and Salsa classes with the Brazilian choreographer Jorge Heller, and went on to perform with the group in Montevideo, Atlántida and Punta del Este. She then continued training and performing with the Cuban choreographer Maygualida Rodriguez, now with Australia's hottest Latin band Chukale. Sacha loves combining dance steps to latin rhythms, its more fun than the gym and gives you a great workout!
